our story

I am Holli. He is Cody. We started dating in high school (although not the same school) in February 1999.  Six years later he popped the question and I said yes. Two months after we were engaged, Cody was diagnosed with brain cancer. [you can read the full story here].  We were married July 8, 2006. We enjoyed life as a couple before trying to have kids. A large family was what we both hoped for. Unfortunately, it wasn't an easy undertaking for us. [you can read that story here].

We have an amazing support system of family and friends, and wouldn't be where we are without every single one of them.

This blog is a way for me to document our milestones, as well as keep the outside world up-to-date on our not perfect, often crazy, adventure we call life. We are always growing...in our marriage, as parents, and most importantly in our faith.
